I am a graphic designer and creative projects manager in the Marketing and Communications department at Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, Colorado.

I am part of an eleven person team that fulfills marketing needs of the university. I design marketing materials and maintain brand identity for all departments throughout campus and I also promote student recruitment and scholarship fundraising. In addition to creating graphics for print, social media and electronic postings, I also assist with proofreading and editing content, creating shot lists, directing photo shoots, editing photos, and training and supervising student interns.

Prior to working at Colorado Mesa University, I was a senior graphic designer in the Public Relations and Marketing Department at St. Mary’s Hospital and Regional Medical for over 14 years. Our department was essentially an in-house advertising agency that wrote, designed, and created all marketing materials. The materials included logos, print ads, brochures, one sheets, posters, newsletters, signage – anything and everything related to communications, including web updates and social media postings.
